Overview
We’re hiring a Senior Marketing Business Analyst to drive marketing efficiency and insight for a direct-to-consumer business. In this role, you’ll turn raw marketing and partner data into automated reporting systems, high-impact dashboards, and clear, actionable recommendations that improve customer growth and marketing ROI.
You’ll support roughly 20 external partners and internal marketing channel owners by building scalable reporting frameworks, eliminating manual work through automation, and translating complex analyses into compelling, business-friendly narratives.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting Automation & Optimization
- Own and automate partner performance reporting for ~20 partners and daily dashboards for marketing channel owners.
- Identify and eliminate manual processes using scripting, APIs, and workflow automation.
- Design scalable reporting frameworks that grow with the business without increasing manual effort.
Strategic Analysis & Business Partnership
- Deliver high-impact analyses that inform marketing investment decisions across multiple data sources.
- Investigate complex, ad-hoc data questions from marketing leadership with speed and precision.
- Track channel KPIs and provide optimization recommendations to improve performance.
- Translate analytical findings into clear insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
Process Improvement & Innovation
- Act as the team’s automation champion by building faster, smarter ways to deliver insights.
- Create reusable analytical tools, templates, and self-service frameworks for marketing teams.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- BS/BA in Mathematics, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 6–8 years of progressive analytics experience, ideally in digital/performance marketing.
- Proven success automating reporting and building scalable analytics solutions.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong SQL skills (querying and extracting data from SQL Server databases).
- Power BI dashboarding and automated reporting (Tableau/Looker also acceptable).
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query; comfortable with large datasets).
- Demonstrated automation experience (scheduled reports, automated pipelines, scripted workflows).
- Familiarity with digital marketing data sources (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads).
Highly Valued
- Python or R for automation workflows and analysis.
- BigQuery for GA4 analysis and custom attribution work.
- Experience using APIs to pull data from marketing platforms programmatically.
- Version control (Git/GitHub) for maintaining automation work.
- SQL Server features such as stored procedures, SSIS, or scheduled jobs.
Nice to Have
- GA4 implementation experience or attribution modeling.
- Data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables, star schemas).
- DAX for advanced Power BI calculations.

Work Requirements
