About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for an FP&A Manager who will support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational finance activities in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment.
The organization provides end-to-end software solutions that help fire and emergency medical services agencies operate more safely, efficiently, and effectively.
In this highly visible Finance role, you will work closely with leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Operations, and General & Administrative functions. You will provide financial insights that support informed decision-making, improve operational performance, and help build scalable processes as the organization grows.

What You’ll Do
Financial Planning and Forecasting
- Support the development and improvement of financial models, including revenue forecasting, operating expense planning, cash forecasting, and headcount planning.
- Lead key components of the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecast cycles in partnership with department leaders.
- Build and maintain driver-based forecasting models tied to core SaaS metrics, including annual recurring revenue, retention, churn, bookings, billings, implementation revenue, and sales productivity.
Business Partnering and Strategic Analysis
- Serve as a finance partner to leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
- Analyze operating performance, unit economics, margin trends, and investment efficiency to support business decisions.
- Provide analytical support for pricing decisions, vendor evaluations, organizational planning, and operational investments.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders.
Reporting and Executive Support
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including variance analysis, KPI reporting, and supporting commentary.
- Support the preparation of Board materials, lender reporting, and investor-related analysis.
- Contribute to executive dashboards and recurring business reviews that improve visibility into organizational performance.
Process and Infrastructure Improvement
- Help strengthen FP&A processes, reporting standards, and operating cadences as the organization scales.
- Identify opportunities to use artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and improve data quality.
- Partner with Finance leadership on improvements to FP&A systems, reporting tools, and data infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including experience with complex operating models and driver-based forecasting.
- Solid understanding of SaaS business models and metrics, including annual recurring revenue, retention, churn, lifetime value to customer acquisition cost ratio, gross margin, Rule of 40, and recurring revenue forecasting.
- Experience working with ERP systems, FP&A platforms, and business intelligence or reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex analysis into clear, actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with GovTech, public safety, or vertical SaaS organizations with long sales cycles and multi-year contracts.
- Exposure to Board reporting, investor relations, or lender reporting in a private equity-backed or growth equity-backed environment.
- Experience helping build or scale FP&A processes.
- Experience with NetSuite.
