About the Role
This opportunity is for a Sales Support Specialist who helps support the growth of dental laboratory services through organized, accurate, and customer-focused sales coordination. This remote role supports outside sales representatives by managing CRM activity, following up with leads and accounts, preparing contracts and sales materials, coordinating onboarding, and helping move opportunities through the sales process.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys supporting sales efforts, building relationships with dental offices, and keeping follow-up and account activity well organized.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 per year, with bonus potential up to 20%
What You’ll Do
- Support outside sales representatives by managing follow-up tasks, account updates, and sales activity in Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
- Enter, update, and track leads, opportunities, contacts, and account information to maintain accurate pipeline visibility.
- Follow up with prospective and existing dental office accounts by phone and email to help move opportunities through the sales process.
- Prepare, send, and track contracts, proposals, sales materials, and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate communication between outside sales representatives, dental offices, customer service, and production teams.
- Assist with new account onboarding, including explaining lab procedures, case submission steps, digital workflows, and service expectations.
- Respond to dental office questions regarding services, case submissions, scheduling, and account support.
- Help outside sales representatives prepare for meetings by compiling account notes, reports, follow-up items, and relevant sales materials.
- Support sales campaigns, promotions, territory outreach, and reactivation efforts for inactive or prospective accounts.
- Maintain timely documentation of calls, emails, next steps, and account status in Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
- Monitor open opportunities and help ensure appropriate follow-up after meetings, demos, events, and marketing campaigns.
- Partner with internal teams to support smooth handoffs, timely case coordination, and a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous inside sales or administrative support experience in the dental industry is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to communicate confidently and support sales opportunities effectively.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent phone, communication, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of dental laboratory services or dental office workflows is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and general office software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with sales and production teams.
- Dental laboratory experience is a plus.
- Experience supporting field or outside sales representatives is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital dentistry and intraoral scanning workflows is a plus.
