Role overview

You’ll support warehouse shipping operations by pulling, packing, labeling, loading, and shipping products from the distribution facility to customers, vendors, and other warehouse locations.

What you’ll do

• Pull, pack, and ship products leaving the warehouse.
• Verify products against items listed in RF technology or the ERP system.
• Prepare outbound materials for customers, vendors, and other distribution facilities.
• Load trucks and move materials using forklifts, cherry pickers, sorting bins, and other warehouse equipment.
• Operate machinery, including forklifts, safely and properly.
• Check product integrity before shipment.
• Apply correct shipping labels and place products on the appropriate outbound trucks.
• Follow proper warehouse procedures to support accurate and efficient shipping.
• Communicate consistently with management and branch personnel.

What you’ll need

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook is a plus.
• Positive, hard-working attitude.
• Ability to set priorities and work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents.

Physical and work environment

• Ability to stand on concrete floors for long periods.
• Ability to work in cold, heat, humidity, and other warehouse climate conditions for extended periods.
• Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, and twist while lifting.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
