Warehouse Associate

Pay: $18 - $22/hour

Role overview

You’ll support frozen warehouse operations by picking customer orders, staging frozen food products, loading trucks, maintaining inventory accuracy, and working safely in a freezer environment.

What you’ll do

• Pick and prepare customer orders using pick lists and warehouse systems.
• Stage frozen food products for shipment.
• Load delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
• Scan and verify products to maintain order and inventory accuracy.
• Handle frozen foods properly to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Rotate inventory and keep freezer storage areas organized.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory management.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts if certified.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Support operational activities related to government inspections and export certifications.
• Communicate inventory concerns or scheduling needs with the warehouse supervisor.
• Work with the team to meet daily shipping and delivery schedules.

What you’ll need

• Previous warehouse, order picking, or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience in a freezer or cold storage environment is a plus.
• Forklift certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Basic computer skills for inventory scanning and order processing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in logistics, food distribution, and warehouse operations.

Physical and work environment

• Ability to work in a cold freezer environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move products up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing.
• Use of warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
