Role overview
You’ll support warehouse operations for event furniture rentals by loading and unloading trucks, processing furniture, preparing orders, maintaining inventory, and keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
What you’ll do
- Load and unload trucks while preventing scratches, damage, and placement errors.
- Pick, stage, and prepare items for customer delivery or district transfers.
- Clean, touch up, repair, or wrap furniture so items are rental-ready or protected for storage.
- Assemble and disassemble furniture pieces as needed.
- Maintain and clean the warehouse, including breaking down cardboard and removing trash.
- Perform cycle counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Relocate, tag, store, and organize products according to warehouse procedures.
- Use RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks as needed.
- Participate in safety meetings and daily warm-ups.
- Assist drivers on deliveries when needed.
- Support special projects and other assigned tasks.
What you’ll need
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift operator certification preferred; on-the-job certification provided.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks.
- Ability to pass a drug screening as a condition of employment.
Physical requirements
- Ability and willingness to move furniture throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Ability to lift 100 pounds with a partner.
- Ability to perform active warehouse work throughout the workday.
